David Swindle

David Swindle, a former Detective Superintendent with 34 years of experience in the police force, has worked on numerous high-profile murder investigations in the UK, including cases involving serial killer Peter Tobin and the Glasgow Airport Terrorist Attack. He now runs a company called “David Swindle Crime Solutions” where he uses his extensive knowledge and international connections to provide expert advice, review, and investigative support to families of victims who were killed abroad due to homicide or under suspicious circumstances.

Currently, he is touring the UK with his show “The Makings of a Murderer,” where true crime enthusiasts and curious minds can delve into the details of various cases and gain insight from a detective’s perspective. The show explores what drives serial killers, the warning signs to look out for, and provides a behind-the-scenes look at the investigation process. Attendees will learn about some of the most notorious British serial killers, including Jack the Ripper, Peter Tobin, Harold Shipman, Peter Sutcliffe, Fred and Rose West, and Ian Brady and Myra Hindley, also known as The Moors Murderers.
